Train to Gain is a Government service offering independent advice on improving the skills of your employees. The Service helps employers – of all sizes and in all sectors – to boost their business by training their staff. Independent Business Link Advisers help you to find the right training and the right providers, and construct a training package tailored to each business.
Once you’re involved with Train to Gain, your employees can access individual advice and in-work support, and get the chance to
develop valuable skills.
Your Business Link Adviser will help you build a relationship with a training provider. The training provider will assess the individual needs of your employees and offer convenient, relevant, cost-effective training.
If you already have an established relationship with a training provider and you are interested in getting involved in Train to Gain, you can work directly with the training provider if they have a contract to deliver Train to Gain-funded training. The Employer's Guide to Training will help you find out whether your training provider is already involved in Train to Gain.
By working in partnership with employers, we help you invest in your staff. We give you the means to support them as they develop into confident, motivated people, fully equipped to contribute to your business success.
Train to Gain is a service managed by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), which exists to make England better skilled and more competitive.
